Alicia Aquino brings over twenty-five years of legal experience to the team. As our in-house litigation consultant, she helps from inception of each case to develop the case strategy, brainstorms on the specific evidence needed that will be compelling for the jury, she further assists with witness prep, jury research, mock trial, focus groups, creating trial graphics and assists with the presentation of evidence in the courtroom.  

Alicia received a Bachelor’s of Science from Columbia College, with a double major, in  Business Administration and Human Resources Management and a minor in Finance, she further received her Paralegal Certificate from UC Davis in 2005.  Since then she has actively committed to learning and staying on top of the anything legal technology related.  Ms. Aquino is an NCRA accredited Trial Technology Consultant and a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants. As a seasoned veteran in the legal industry, she adds so much value to every case here at Schneiderman Attorneys.

Alicia’s passion to help others is demonstrated through her work, empowering women, fostered youth, and the LGBTQ community.   Alicia is a community leader and very active within San Diego County; she is the past President and current Secretary of the Tom Homann LGBTQ Law Association Foundation Board, and is a founding advisory board member of the Online Courtroom Project. She has sat as a committee member of the ABA Women of Legal Tech Summit, Lawyers Club of San Diego, ABA Legal Technology Resource Center, and Women in e-Discovery, San Diego Chapter. Most notably, she is a founding advisory board member of the Online Courtroom Project and co-author of The Online Courtroom: Leveraging Remote Technology in Litigation, published by the American Bar Association. She has presented to several legal associations from Coast to Coast on trial preparation, trial presentation, and best practices for trial and remote court proceedings.
